Caleb Rivers is the new kid in Rosewood High, who gets involved with Hanna and Emily when they asked him to hack into Emily's phone; but with a price. He is into other illegal activities that he doesn't want anyone to know resulting for him to have a sketchy personality. He takes money every chance he gets.

Meet the Parents
Caleb, as he is secretly living in Hanna's basement, decides it was time he met 'mom' (Ashley Marin). He rings the doorbell in "The New Normal" and introduces himself to Ashley. She is concerned about Hanna becoming friends with him. Near the end of "The Bad Seed" Hanna and Caleb kissed. In the next episode, Hannah's already wary mother becomes of aware of Caleb's living arrangement and kicks him out. Hannah gos with him and they camp out in the woods. They are talking about their past and roasting marshmellows, when they start kissing. Hannah later loses her virginity to him in the tent.
Friendships
Caleb doesn't like to let anyone get too close to him, except Hanna who he is now dating. We have only seen Caleb interact with a few other people: Hanna, Ms. Marin, Aria, Spencer, Emily, and a few random students from Rosewood High.
